The Challenger T2 can be infinitely tilted sideways and tilted backwards. With the foot pedal, the bar can be rotated 360 degrees around its own axis The double tilt mechanism features a stainless steel interior and cast aluminum body. 100% polyester, 300 g/m2, color fastness 5-6, UPF 35+, PU coated, water repellent and dirt repellent.
Color fastness
When a parasol is exposed to the sun, the fabric fades over time. How quickly and to what extent depends on the fabric quality. Platinum offers fabrics in classes 1 to 4. The higher the material class, the better the color fastness and the longer the period until the first noticeable fading. Material class 2 offers a color fastness of 80-160 days in the sun. Material class 4 shows the first color changes after about 350 days in the sun. To extend the life of your parasol, we recommend that you always use a cover when your parasol is not in use.
UV protection
Every parasol offers protection from the sun, but not all protect against UV rays. Platinum parasols filter and protect against UV rays with a UPF rating of up to 50+ on a scale of 15 to 50+.
