Bamboo

Already from the factory, the Bamboo range is protected with Bamboo-Protector. Bamboo is a natural product that reacts to the environment. Due to differences in climate, temperature and humidity, bamboo can discolor and crack. This is inevitable and seen as a charm of bamboo garden furniture. There may also be slight dots/smears present. Discoloration, hairline cracks and black spots do not affect the quality or construction.

If black spots appear, it is advisable to clean the garden furniture, let it dry, lightly sand it and treat it with Exotan Care® Bamboo protector (ECP340).

For optimal cleaning results, you can use the Exotan Care® sanding pad (ECP455-P) for cleaning. Apply a protective coating with the Exotan Care® Application Cloth (ECP456).

Spunpoly

The cushions have a Spunpoly outer fabric and a standard foam filling. For this reason, we recommend that the cushions are always stored in a dry place, protected from sunlight. This will prevent “the weather” or mold from getting into the pillows. It is recommended to remove stains immediately. This can be easily done with warm water and soap. Stubborn stains can be removed with Exotan Care® fabric cleaner (ECP530). We recommend the Exotan Care® Fabric Protector (ECP730) to re-impregnate it.
