Care instructions

Teak FSC®

Teak FSC® is a natural product. Due to various weathering influences, stains and
hairline cracks may appear in the teak. This does not affect the construction of the product. In addition, teak can become discolored. This is inherent to teak. To maintain the warm teak color, we recommend treating the product with Exotan Care® Teak Sealer (ECP300) immediately after purchase. If you prefer the product to turn evenly gray, treat the product with Exotan Care® Teak Protector (ECP320). This will protect the product from dirt and prevent staining. Stubborn stains can be removed with Exotan Care® Teak Cleaner (ECP250). After cleaning, we recommend protecting the product again with Exotan Care® Teak Sealer (ECP300) or Exotan Care® Teak Protector (ECP320).

For optimal cleaning results, you can use the Exotan Care® Sanding Pad (ECP455-P) for cleaning. Afterwards, apply a protective coat using Exotan Care® Application Cloth (ECP456).

Olefin

The cushions have an outer fabric of olefin and a filling of quick-drying foam. This allows the cushions to remain outside throughout the season. Stains can be removed immediately as the cushions come with covers that you can put in the washing machine and wash at 30˚C degrees. We recommend spraying the covers with Exotan Care® fabric protector (EPC730) after washing. This provides additional UV filter protection that prevents discoloration and prevents dirt from sticking. Stubborn stains can be removed with Exotan Care® Fabric Cleaner (ECP530).
